Tuesday 24th December – Christmas Eve
2.00pm ‘Christingle’
(Those with pre-school aged children are encouraged
to come to this first Christingle service)

Wednesday 25th December – Christmas Day
9.30am All-age Christmas Celebration with Communion
(We do encourage everyone to come and celebrate Jesus’ birth on Christmas Day itself)

St. Nicholas’ – ‘Christmas Coffee Morning’

Saturday 7th December
9.30am-12 noon
in St. Nicholas’ Church (Arrowe Road Greasby, near the village shops)

We warmly welcome everybody for a morning of festive conviviality!
Come, relax with a hot drink & mince pie, enjoy a good chat and browse at some festive stalls including:

  • Cakes,
  • Jewellery,
  • Fancy Goods,
  • Stocking Fillers,
  • Tombola,
  • Raffle…

£2.50 for Adults & 50p for Children
This includes all refreshments – including free re-fills!
PLUS: FREE children’s craft activities! – Giving grown-ups time to sit, relax and enjoy themselves!

Children’s Activities On Sundays

We have Sunday Morning groups for all children and young people who are of school age
(from Reception to Year 13)

groups all meet as part of the “The 10 o’clock Service”
Which happens every Sunday
In St. John’s offering a warm welcome for everybody……

  • Lively informal worship for all ages and types
  • Relevant, challenging Bible-teaching
  • Refreshments, chatting & fellowship!!!

PLUS: ‘The Family Zone!’  – which is a special space for parents with young children to help them feel relaxed and welcome!

Activities for Young People - held in St. Nick's:

“YPs on SUNDAYS!” 6.45-8.00pm

Teens in Years 7-13 meeting to learn about God in a lively, fun way!

A chance to help the young people learn and grow as Christians, by hearing what the

Bible has to say, asking questions and discussion – all in a friendly, fun-filled setting!

“Enquirers’ Courses” (including the “The ALPHA Course”)
and other opportunities to explore the Christian faith

House Groups

Meeting each month – Bible Study and Fellowship for those keen to grow in their Christian faith & knowledge

'Women's Fellowship'

Ladies group – meets fortnightly on Tuesdays 8.00pm – in St. Nicholas’


Meets once a month in term-time on a THURSDAY evening 7.30-9.15pm in St. Nicholas’ Church
(Arrowe Road Greasby, CH49 1RB) (See ‘Church Notice Sheet’ for details of date of next meeting)

These evenings focus on a relaxed time of informal worship together, plus Talk, Bible Study/Discussion to give the chance to discover more about God, the Bible and how we can grow our relationship with Jesus – all in a context of relaxed fellowship. All are welcome and we encourage people to come along to join with others as we seek to grow in our faith and discover a closer walk with Jesus.



‘Greet Eat Meet’

Food-based gatherings for friendly chat & fellowship for those of ‘riper years’!  Varied venues & themes!  See Notices for details!

"Blokes' Pub Night"

Meets 8.00pm on the Fourth Tuesday of the month in the ‘Coach & Horses – Greasby’ – for friendly chat and a drink!

'Tea on a Tuesday'

Tea & friendly chat for those of ‘riper years’! Meets on First Tuesday of month 1.30pm  – in St. Nicholas’

'Stay & Play'

Parent & Toddler Group for those with children aged 3 and under – meets on Tuesdays (term-time only) 9.30-11.30am – in St. Nicholas’


'Craft Group for Adults'

Craft, knitting & fellowship for all – beginners or experienced! Meets on First Wednesday of month 7.00pm – in St. Nicholas’
